Collaborative container packing for Guatemala 2025

June 14, 2025

A 40-foot container packed with vital humanitarian aid has successfully arrived at the port of Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala, on August 4, 2025. The shipment was loaded in Vancouver on June 14 and departed port on June 25. Final customs clearance is expected shortly, after which the container will be transported to its destination in Antigua.

The shipment, weighing 7,300 kg, includes critical medical equipment such as three anesthetic machines, hospital beds, stretchers, surgical supplies, and computer monitors. Also included are supplies for the Days for Girls program. This cargo will support upcoming medical missions by both Health for Humanity (H4H) and Team Broken Earth at the Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro hospital this November.

The total cost of shipping was $10,500 CAD, shared equally between H4H and Broken Earth, who also shared one-third of the total cargo.

We are eagerly awaiting confirmation from the Obras team in Antigua once the container arrives at its final destination.
