We are pleased to announce that Partner for Surgery has released its latest distribution report regarding Days for Girls.

During the first rural medical mission of 2026, a total of 50 menstrual kits were distributed in Rabinal, Baja Verapaz.

Mothers and daughters were invited to attend a menstrual hygiene education session, with new educational components focused on HPV prevention, encouraging vaccination.

Since public schools in Guatemala begin classes in February, the next rural mission will begin at the end of February in Alta Verapaz.

In 2025:

– 563 menstrual kits were distributed

– We reached 7 communities including:

• San Juan Sacatepéquez
• Purulhá, Baja Verapaz
• Jutiapa
• Ciudad Peronia
• San Juan Chamelco
• Ixcán
• Corazón de los Niños (SAC)

– We expanded our network to more than 15 local health promoters
